The San Bernardino Associated Governments is developing a Countywide Points of Interest Pedestrian Plan (PIPP) to assist member agencies with the development of plans and tools for identifying and prioritizing pedestrian improvements in the region.

WHAT: Road construction with lane closures
WHEN: April 18 through June 30
WHERE: Bear Valley Road between Mariposa and Balsam
DESCRIPTION: Road improvement on Bear Valley Road begins April 18, 2016 and is expected to continue through June 30, 2016. Crews will be focused on the one-mile stretch from Mariposa to Balsam on the Victorville side of Bear Valley Road (the same side as John’s Incredible Pizza). At this time, crews are working on the curbing and sidewalks. Paving will take place in May. Lane closures will occur throughout the duration of this project, which is expected to last through the end of June.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes such as Nisqualli to avoid congestion at the construction area. Motorists who must travel in the construction zone are urged to exercise caution and obey all traffic controls and posted signs.
